I picked up a reclining sofa/loveseat set this morning at North Carolina Furniture Direct (which will necessitate some end table making).

Whilst there, I noticed a Mission bedroom on display. Big bed, nitestand, large triple chest with probably 12 drawers...all SOLID QSWO with dovetailed cedar sides, bottoms. Salesman said it came from China. As I recall, the bed was priced somewhere around $1100, the dresser $1700. Drawers fit and operated beautifully...it didn't look like 'factory' furniture, and the finish was an outstanding matte. Now, I dislike oak intensely...but were I was an oak man, I honestly think I'd go BUY it. Not at all sure it'd be cost effective to build myself. I also noticed a handful of reclining Morris chairs and Mission sofas that look to be extremely well built, and quite comfy. Me thinks things are changing...
