List Of Acronyms (41 new ones since last updated 11/27/04)

Following is a list of woodworking acronyms. Please feel free to send me a PM with additions, modifications, comments, spelling, etc. I’ll update the list as I receive the comments. (Note: not all acronyms listed are strictly woodworking terms, rather used frequently in wood forums).

If you can’t find the acronym(s) here, try www.acronymfinder.com.

Note: acronyms in RED may not be included in some of the other wood forums because of:

    1) objectionable language,
    2) subjective language and/or
    3) subject matters, i.e., forum member names

Added/Modified 41 items since last updated 11/27/04 (see items with an *)

    Regards, Joe

CC is normally used for cubic centimeter....a measure of volume. There are about 15 CCs in a tablespoon. Can't imagine why CC would be used to mean centimeter.....unless there is a mistake in the definition above???

Not quite sure what 10 cm = mm is supposed to mean???

    10 mm = 1 cm

    100 cm = 1 meter

    1 inch = 2.54 cm
