    Machine Store in Chicago?

I'll be in Chicago for the upcoming week and would like to do some window shopping. Is there a large woodworking machine store in the Chicago area? Being new to woodworking machines, I'd like to get a "feel" for size and "massivity" (I do wonder if that's a word) of these machines.

    Thanks,

    John

    John,

Check out Berland's House Of Tools, Woodcraft, or Rockler. All 3 have web sites complete with driving directions.

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and have a ball doing some heavy duty "wishing" in the toy stores.

BERLANDS on Rand Road would be a good choice and Woodcraft is right around the corner on Dundee...

Ditto on Berlands. But beware!! You can spend a few paychecks there without blinking!!
