    Need help with Bosch Miter Saw

    The electronic brake on my 5312, 12" slide compound miter saw, is not working. I have changed the brushes hoping that was the problem, but no luck. Any ideas?

    I had the same problem with a Makita 1212LS last year. I replaced the switch and all was fine.

    The switch might do it, but before changing any more parts, you may want to give Bosch a call. I'll bet they've seen this before.
