Cyclone lids with 600-800 cfm collector

Has anyone ever made this combo work? Or would the dust collector not generate enough airflow?

Don't waste your money purchasing a cheapie "cyclone" trash can lid. Make your own Thien baffle instead... http://www.cgallery.com/jpthien/cy.htm. The baffle can also be fitted into many dust collectors.
