The local O'Reilly's has all the radiator hoses for my 1990 Toyota Corolla. It surprises me that they have only a 1-year warranty. Is that the typical length of time for a warranty on a radiator hose? It seems too brief.

I'm surprised its that long. I worked in an auto parts store in high school and early in college (one that is now owned by O"Reilly in fact.) You'd be really surprised at what people think a warranty covers.

Thats pretty standard with most parts stores, 12mos.
In a world where the the warranty on most electronics is only 90 days be thankful you have a whole year on a hose.
I recently picked up a serpentine belt there, they had two different ones.
A. $12.95 30 day warranty
B. $19.95 90 day warranty
I sprung for the more expensive one. I have never seen a belt last less than about 50,000 miles but B just looked better.
