Teaching LOML (Carving with a Dremel)

My wife has decided to join me in the ww shop. I like the idea as she is a great artist, oils, colored pencils and acrylics.

She has decided to use the Dremel to try to carve. Mostly flat stuff as that's the first on the learning curve we imagine.

What she is looking for is some instructional information on what tool to use to do detail carving, stem carving and such.

Any guidence would be appreciated as I want this to be a pleasant experience for her.

    Jim,
You might check at Woodcraft. I know they have some carving classes, but I've not paid too much attention to the details. I don't know if it's power carving or hand tool stuff. They may have some books as well, but I don't know.
