Question Q for Pinnacle owners operating with XP in the virtual mode

Ok, so I'm currently using an OLD Compaq as my dedicated laser computer, and was recently thinking of upgrading to more memory, more RAM, a better processor, etc - but obviously I have to use XP (or so I'm thinking).

So I was wondering who out there, who owns a Pinnacle, uses a more modern computer than a P2, and an OS other than XP - and either run XP virtually or somehow runs something other than XP.

What good or bad stories do you have to share?

I have a Pinnacle ZX and I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium, 32 bit on an Intel Core i7 based system. It works fine. You can't run the driver on a 64 bit system but it works fine on 32 - no need to run XP mode.

Yep, My driver runs fine on Win 7 32 bit. Intel Quad 4. Luckily the PC has a parallel port!

Are there any known issues running a USB-to-Parallel Port connection ??

My slim tower does not have one ---
