    glass lidded bowl

This is spalted yellow birch. It is 7" dia. x 2 1/4" tall. The lid is dichroic clear glass on the bottom, and clear green on top. The leafs are copper fused between the two glasses.bowls.shadowbox 009.jpgbowls.shadowbox 007.jpg

Ray, that glasswork really adds an extra element!! Very neat - haven't seen much glasswork from you recently. Excellent detailing on the leaves, too.

I like it Ray. The glass really sits if off.

Ray...A very nice combination. Is there a way to take off the lid other than tipping the bowl?

Thanks all for the kind words. Ted, I will add a knob, just haven't decided on one yet.

I agree, needs a knob, but great looking piece otherwise.

For me, a knob way off center to offset the leaves would work
