Cup Hinges for FF Overlay Doors

I need to install some euro hinges on a project with overlay doors. I've never made overlay doors and am confused when faced with the choices of hinges with respect to the amount of overlay of the door. Is it as simple as, say, 3/8" overlay hinges= a door 3/4" larger than the opening in the FF? Thanks in advance. Walt

    Hey Walt.....

http://www.blum.com has very good website in regards to Euro hinges along with specs and downloadable .PDF files.

Yes, to make a 3/8" overlay door, you make the door 3/4" taller and wider than the opening. I get my hinges from www.wwhardware.com. They carry the entire Blum line, at good prices, and have lots of support info in their catalog.
