    Bench and CD Case

I have gotten a great deal out of seeing other's projects presented on SMC, along with the lively banter, debate and humor. I am simply very slow to get around to photographing work. The work bench was built in August and I built the the CD Case in time for the past holidays.

Thanks gents! The bench was built in six days as a sort of course at Philadelphia Furniture Workshop. There were (I think) 10 of us building benches...while the overall design and most of the hardware were the same across the group, each bench was fairly customized in dimension and details. I'm pretty short (5'4"), so my bench is just shy of 31" tall. The top is 2.75" thick solid hard maple -- 7.5' x 24", not including the tail vise. Even with the leg sets, stretchers, and vises removed the top was a beast to get down to the basement shop.
