    Brad, Larry's post made me think of one other suggestion. You might want to put blocking up for hanging wall cabinets, etc. Run 2"x6" at 7' or so between studs. That way when you go to hang cabinets or french cleats you have a bit more flexibility.

    Don is correct. Check your building code before deciding. Even though my shop/garage is detached code still required drywall.
