    printing Joe's plans

Any way to print Joe's plans on letter paper to tape together to get the large page sizes he uses?

It may be easier to have a local Kinkos print large designs on one of their large-format printers...

Good thought, Dan, but Kinko's is more than a 100 miles from me. I live in the boonies. I was hoping for some free/cheap software to break up the page size to fit on letter size paper and then I could tape them together.

I'm pretty sure Acrobat can split between pages, just set the zoom percentage in the print screen. I'll take a look...

Thanks, Andy, but it doesn't handle pdf files. Neither does Paint, which also works on image files. How can one convert a pdf file into an image file, like jpg, etc?

Checj on the Shopbot forum You may be able to find some one that has a plotter pin for their bot that could plot it out full size. I can plot out 48 x 96 on mine but only have 27 inch wide news print so I can plot 27x 96.

    Carol has joined Joes.

Carol, if you want to email me your files I will get them printed here (if you want your water mark on them otherwise I can do mine for you) and put them in the box with the carriages when I send them out next week to you. 11X17 is the cheapest LARGE print Kinkos will do at $.75 a page.

I've never used it, but could you use the tile function in Corel? Inkscape is free and may have a tile function as well.

11x17 copies at Staples: 22 cents a page.
    Works for me.
