    Osolnik inspired salt/pepper mills.

I needed a break from coring so decided to turn a couple of mills. I really like this style with clean simple lines. Walnut crotch and spalted curly maple. I tried a CA finish on these but may not do this again because of the expense and I'm not sure how it would work with more detail. They have Crushgrind mechanisms. There is a slight height difference but not as exaggerated as in the pic. Comments and suggestions always welcome.

Thanks Steve, but, I couldn't bring them last night because I just turned them this afternoon.

Wow those are very nice looking! I need to try my hand at these one of these days, my salt grinder is broken and need a new one anyway.

Simple forms really let the grain in the wood show. Great job!

Very nice mills. The wood shows itself off well in both pieces.

I have to agree Philip that the simple form of these looks really nice, and finish looks great.
