    Sewer and Drain pipe Question

What are people paying for long radius 90 for the 6" sewer and drain pipe?

What is an average price for the pipe 6" in ten foot sections?

    Steve,
I pay about US$10 for a ten-foot length of 6" 2729 from a local plumbing supplier. I can't get long radius 90s locally; McMaster Carr has them for US$14.45 each (item number 9102K116). If the link below works, it will take you to the McMaster Carr catalog page with the fittings.

Out here in sunny San Jose I just paid $11.25 for a single piece of 6" X 10' pipe.

I remember seeing a Sewer and Drain Pipe place over on Kansas City Rd in Olathe. Scott probably knows where it is.
If at 1st you don't succeed, go back to the lumberyard and get some more wood.

I think Lowes sells the 10' sections for just under $11. To me, large radius 90s = 2 45s and a foot long section of pipe. Each 45 is around $6.

    Steve,

I live out here in Olathe. There is a pipe supplier, in Olathe, on Kansas Ave south of the court house. I believe it is about 1 block north of Dennis Street. Also there is a place called "Pyramid Pipe" in Grandview.

    Hope that helps.

I did not see 6" S&D at my HD, I just bought some 4" S&D that was $5 for a 10' piece and they did not have long90's...so I bought 2 45's that were $2 ea and i will throw a short pc of straight pipe in between.

I have never been able to find 6" PVC for decent prices at HD either. Checkout the dedicated supply houses. The best would be to talk to a plumber who can get you their prices...

Steve, I get my 6" S&D from Locke Supply for right around $10 per 10" section, part # R110. They have some stores in Kansas. Check the Locke Supply Locations

I don't glue the sections together in case I need to change the layout. I use the "PL" brand Urethane caulking after the sections are in place, in about a week, that pipe isn't going anywhere. If I need to take the joint apart, just cut the caulk and disassemble.

    Good Luck,
    Best Regards, Ken
