My sister in law asked me to make a box for her. She gave me a rough idea as to what she wanted. I wasn't too keen on the idea, but as I started working on it, I really enjoyed building it.
The main part is Ash, the doors and drawer front are made from a very dark piece of white oak I had. Finish is Danish oil and Wax.
