I stated here awhile back that I have to tuckpoint the bricks around my house. Well I am getting ready to do this and my driveway just about touches the side of my house, I mean just about 1 inch space if that between the brick on the lower part of the house and the concrete driveway. Well anyway I am wanting to make a concrete "curve" so to speak at the bottom of the brick so that future rain will just gush down the drive way and hopefully stop a couple of small leaks in my basement. Well I have a few small trees growing in this crevise. Maybe about 1/2 inch thick and then a few weeds. I am needing a sure fire way of killing these things before I put down the concrete so I wont have to have growth growing up through it and cracking it later. Any advice would be helpful. I am kind of leary of all these commercialised things that are supposed to work but have to admit that I have not tried them all..
