    Myk, I don't see anything that looks like it is under the paint. There is a thick layer of paint however. On the upper wheel housing there is a metal plate that says, "Sold and Serviced by M N Thackaberry Inc, Wood and Metal Woodworking machinery, Los Angeles and Pasadena, Serial #117". That is the only markings I can find.

    That is a beautiful saw Sam. Enjoy that. I can't wait to see the after pics. I love the wheel cover doors. Are those cast as well? Impressive build quality!
