Has anyone used Waxilit for glue release?

Waxilit is a product I recently heard of to use for glue release in squeeze out areas. I understand you apply it around the joint prior to assembly. Dried glue "pops" off and the Waxilit is cleaned off with Acetone. Has anyone used it and does it adversely effect the finish? I hear it is also a great lube for metal surfaces. As always thanks for your help.
    Enjoy the journey,

    Martin

I have not used this product, but I have used an old candle. It works great! Mainly I use it on my cauls to keep them for being glued down.

I just use regular Carnuba wax. Mineral spirits removes it. I use mineral spirits to remove tar from car fenders. Of course the wax is gone too.
