Fence for a Rockwell Crescent 8 inch Jointer?

I am about to undertake the restoration of a Rockwell/Crescent 8 inch Jointer. The fece for the jointer is missing and I want to find one prior to putting the time and money into the restoration. I have gone to some of the vintage tool sites and have not found anything. Does anyone have a machine that they are parting out or know where I might be able to find a fence?

Your best bet is to go to a Fab shop and have one made of steel instead of cast iron.Over the yrs,I just don't recall ever seeing one for sale,not even on the auction site.Good Luck-----Carroll

Where are you located at? There is one for sale in Houston, Texas for $300 and it looks like an oldie!! Depending on your location it might make sense for you to buy the jointer, take off the parts that you need and then part out the rest. Just an idea.
