    Suggestions on Clapping Bar Rail

I am building a basement bar. Several members helped me out the other day on how to make the correct miter cut. Now I need to glue and clap the rail as Per instructed. Trouble is, I have no good thoughts on how to clap the puppy. The rail is made out of 2x8 lumber milled to form a standard Chicago Bar Rail. I have two 45 degree angles at either end of the 5' main rail. Any thoughts?

    bar rail

A picture is worth a thousand words, but......
you are going to need two people. About the glue first,
I use PL polyurethane premium construction adhesive.
My tops are also 1 1/2 thick, with the bottom layer
cut at a 45 to give the rail more support. Once set in
place I screw up from the bottom. Whats not
shown in the picture, some times I have to take a 1 foot cut
section of bar rail, reverse it to mate with the rail proper,
then using three foot pipe clamps, apply pressure front to back.
I hope this helps. The bad news is I clamp every 16 inchs.
I hope this helps. I forgot , the one by in the picture
should be a short cut off 0f 2x4. Per
