My mom has been taking my daughter to the open houses at Motawi Tile the last few years where they get to make their own tiles. And of course they pick up a few of the standard ones too. I've been working on frames for them over the last few days and the first two are shown here. They are loosely based on ones I've seen for sale. For joinery, I'm using dominos on the corners and pocket hole screws for the dividers which is working out great because they turn the dividers into structural elements since the 4-tile one is very heavy.
