    vinyl cutter recomendations

    Hello All,

New to this forum. Was thinking of picking up a vinyl cutter to use at work. We would do a small amount of interior signage, a little bit of outdoor
'yard sign' size signs (12x18), a lot of lettering for awards plaques, and a little bit of graphics, logos etc.. Anyone care to recomend a brand, a size of machine, or a vendor?

    Thanks for any replies,

There are many brands and models. I recently purchased a Roland GX 24 a bit more expensive
than others, but I am using this for work and when a there is an issue Roland gives good support.
Their machines have been a standard of the industry for years. I got a 20" with an optical cutter.
That means I can print something with registration marks (from Roland software) and set the
cutter to contour cut around the printed piece.

There are quite a few out there under $1000, I would check out some Tee Shirt Forums as many are used
to make Tee Shirt heat transfers.
