    Roland GX24 help

Testing my new cutter. Is there a way to get the Crop Marks in a Corel file
so as to print then cut directly from Corel? Or does it have to be all done
    in the Cut Studio software?

Also The couple things that I did print the Crop Marks just looked like circles
I really couldn't see registration lines with in them. Are those neccesary or is it
    just reading the circles?

On last thing, in the Cut Studio software if has an outline tool that creates
the vector outline from a bitmap. Problem is I don't get a result any where near
    what the videos show.

    Thanks!

Click on the prepress tab of the print file and select registration or crop.

    Mike,

They have a 3 crop marks in a triangle. That has been the one pain with this. I am used to Corel but learning cut studio.
In corel I could get this done one two three. You think that Roland would have a template with the crop marks on it that
you could import to Corel to start it. I have laid out as close to them as I can come visually (Real close) but then the cut is way off.

with my Graphtec Ce5000 the cut software integrates with Corel but with crop marks as a feature. I can do a drawing in Corel then open Cutting Master from Corel. Are you sure that you've checked everywhere.

    Mike,

I haven't worked with macros, so I didn't realize I had to move it to the tool bar.
I got it going now. I have to save the bitmat, then use the macro to get the vector
in CutStudio. Then import the bitmap, size and center and I am ready to go.

It still would be nice to do it in one step, but I am sailing now.
