    Pecan end table

I saw this design in a recent WOOD magazine, and loved the concept - an open sided and open back three drawer end table. I purchased pecan wood at my local dealership as it was even cheaper than oak, and I'd never worked with it. Not difficult to work, and it has a gorgeous grain, especially with the honey oak Danish oil I used. I had intended it for my office, but my daughter just ran out of room for her clothes so it's hers until I build her an armoire

    Patrick,

Like your end table. I could see where it would work in a home office.

I'd like to make a pecan piece myself one of these days.

Nice work on the end table Patrick. Even nicer that you are giving it to your daughter for awhile...

Just jump in, Paul. I had never worked with pecan, but it was fun. The scent the wood gave off as it was being machined (like the routing done on the top) was very pleasant.

That's different and well done, too. I like it and I like the Pecan wood you used.
