Possible flammable situation with Carbon steel tools and CBN wheel

I was playing around with my 180 grit CBN wheel tonight. I decided to sharpen a few chisels. I use a donut shape magnet to gather the grinding dust under the wheel. As I was grinding a new edge on the chisel I started to notice the dust on the magnet glowing. There were no flames but the dust was definitely aglow. This happen 3 times as I sharpened the chisel. It only happened with the carbon steel chisels. There was no wood dust available at the point of ignition, but I would think it would be quite possible to start the dust on fire from the amount of glowing I witnessed.

Thanks for the warning, Bob. Even better, thanks for the magnet tip... That's a great idea!
