Is there anyway you can optimize the search engine so it does not search signatures in posts? I was looking for some stuff tonight and kept getting search results that only had hits in peoples signatures and not actual content in the posts. Thanks Chris

This has long been a pet peeve of mine in automotive forums. If you search for a product, you turn up a bazillion posts by people who have all the components of their car listed in their signature line(s).

My understanding from similar questions is that the signature line is just text appended to the text of the post - so there is no way for a search to be able to distinguish the words in the post from the words in a signature.
