    Unhappy How many coats of Watco?

    I'm finsihing some tiger maple that was dyed with an analine dye. How many coats of Watco wipe on poly should be enough? The wood seems to drink the stuff.

    Try three.

    Keep the dry spots wetted real good. If you get more dry spots, do it again. Watco likes to soak in. Steve
