This is my first time for everything but the box. Box and sewing kit are from pallet wood, which turned out to be wormy spalted maple. The box is from a branch collar or crotch. The box is 1-7/8 x 2-3/4 and the sewing kit is 1-1/8 x 6-7/8 - too big to be useful, I realized too late.

The stopper is Russian Olive, about 1-3/8 x 2-5/8, and the spoon is Osage Orange, 2 x 11-3/8.

I moved my photo set-up to a room with no windows. (Thanks, Jamie). I'm still using the butcher paper back drop (see wrinkles) and I have one direct light on the right and one light reflected off white paper on the left. Both lights are filtered through 2" white fiberglass furnace filters. I started with 100w sort white incandescent bulbs, but switched to 60w. I think I'll switch back to 100w, because the auto focus is having trouble. I clearly have a long way to go in the photo department, as well as with the turnings.
Thanks for looking. Comments, criticisms and suggestions for improvement appreciated.
