    Box elder urn

Bow Elder and Walnut; body 7 x5 ". Finish Gen. Turner's Finish. Walls 1/4" - 3/8". Cool windy day, hand held. I see that the lid was not screwed down tight. Learning as I go.

The PVC threads look like a good way to get away from the instability of boxelder. The urn has a nice form and a very good finish; I like the contrast of the walnut lid although it could be a little smaller for my taste.

Nice form Allan! I like the contrast between the Box Elder and Walnut but agree with Dennis about the size of the knob.
