    Midi Lathe Stand

I just finished welding up a stand for the midi lathe we bought our daughter. At this height the centerline is right at my elbow. It will go down 4" from there and up a lot. I'm going to build a plywood box for my daughter to stand on so she can use it at the same height, then I'll cut that down as she grows.

9 now or as she reminds us, 10 in 6 weeks.

Forgot to mention this is a test fit--still need to clean it up and paint it before we use it. Otherwise it'll never get done

Nice job on the fabrication. The test fit is clearly a success.

That is a great, creative age. Thanks for making this for her.
