    new shop picture

Been a little busy lately working on a shop. It is 30'x60' with a 10' porch in the front. I have the power on and am working on the rest of the wiring for the tools. Here is the outside picture. Thanks for looking. Russell

Wow, looks nicer than my house! It's a shame you had to take out that walnut grove so you could build the shop, but that stuff always makes good firewood in the winter. ;^} Looking good, Russell!

That is gonna be one heck of a nice shop!

    Deep thought for the day:

Your bandsaw weighs more when you leave the spring compressed instead of relieving the tension.

I think my house looks nicer, but this shop is definitely bigger.

Really nice looking shop building. I just built a new shop too, and wanted to go with a pole barn construction, but out here in the desert they cost far more than the typical steel building, so I had to go that way. Your construction would be far easier to super insulate. Can't wait to see photos of your finished shop. Tom

Your shop is very nice, I'd love to have the room like you have.

Great looking workspace bro! So, is the foreground for the pecan processing, and the framed background for the wood shop?

Steve, the picture is taken from the wood turning side. It is 30'x40', the pecan processing side is 20'x30'. The current set up for the pecan processing is 20'x20', so it will be more than enough room. Sorry it took so long to reply, I have been real busy every night and weekend since this project started. I am almost ready to start moving in this weekend.

Great looking shop, Russell, and quick progress! 30' x 40' is a SUBSTANTIAL shop space, but knowing how we all do, you will fill it up quickly. I hope you are able to get moved this weekend and that the weather holds for you.

Entire industries are built on coveting...

Or is that Cosseting (corsetting?) I dunno.
    Nice digs, though.
