Which is the festool sandpaper of choice Brilliant or Rubin

I'm looking into buying the Rotex 125 but i am having trouble deciphering what the difference is between the two. If anyone would like to tell me which grade they use and why it could help me make my choice.Thank you

    Brilliant

As per Mr. Marino I stick with the brilliant.
This is a non sterated paper and combined with
the festool dust collection lasts forever.
    I hope this helps.
    Ps
I have not used the rubin.

    Bernie,

Of all the Festool items in need of a more detailed explanation, it's the abrasives. Hopefully, this will be addressed very soon. Both are non-sterated, aluminum oxide. The Rubin is a garnet colored abrasive, with a heavy cloth backing, in grits from 24 trough 180, better suited to unpainted woods. The Brilliant is a lighter weight, grayish paper with grits from 40 through 1200, suited for woods either painted, varnished or raw. I have used both series interchangeably in the medium grit range (80 - 150) and have not noticed any diifference.

I'm with Bob on this one. I've used both (not on a Rotex) on my 150/5 and, using dust collection with either, makes the paper last a long, long time. I can't really tell the difference going between one and the other.
