Well almost done, I'm still waiting for my wife to pick out the drawer pulls she wants. This took me about four months and is my largest project yet. It is built mostly from cherry. I used soft maple for the hidden parts. The joinery is primarily mortise and tenons and pocket holes. Secondary joinery includes biscuits, half blind dovetails, half laps and a dado. The finish is watco Danish oil.
I have a real drawer on the left and a faux drawer on the right. The faux drawer is held in place with rare earth magnets and can be removed to allow access to drop the feed dogs. The platform that old the sewing machine has four leveling screws to allow flush fit of the sewing machine to the table.
