    The worst thing is that terrible "steam punk" wire cage lamp,haphazardly mounted on the ill curved (why make the lamp lean way over?) flex shaft.

    I don't hate it. I'll be honest. I don't.

    I am still not sure if I like it, but I don't hate it. It's not a saw with a mountain scene painted on the plate, so it has that going for it.

    Oh man is that a shiek? (sp?) I think the fact that its carbide tipped makes it even tackier!

    EDIT My wife wants to know if that is indeed Elvis can anyone confirm

    Wasn't me, I am too busy doing IRON body planes. I do have a "Trouble Light" for working on cars ( No Bulb, though) but i doubt if i can make it stand up on it's cord. What a waste.....



    Might a cheap Skil saw blade under elvis? i once had a Shop Sign painted on an old Credo blade. About all it was good for....

    When I made a 100 lb. aerial bomb into a lamp my wife was aghast. I asked her what kind of shade would complement it, she just didn't think it was possible.

    So, after looking at the plane lamp I'm not making any noise about superior artistic ability. Or any artistic ability at all.

    One thing to note is that if they used rayon covered wire it likely doesn't have UL approval.
