When I made a 100 lb. aerial bomb into a lamp my wife was aghast. I asked her what kind of shade would complement it, she just didn't think it was possible.

So, after looking at the plane lamp I'm not making any noise about superior artistic ability. Or any artistic ability at all.

One thing to note is that if they used rayon covered wire it likely doesn't have UL approval.

Dare I ask how you procured such an object?

I love how you make household items out of heavy munitions and then point out that the lamp is not UL approved.
