I got an old croquet set at a house auction and I want to repaint it for the grandkids. I'd like to repaint the wooden balls as well, but need ideas on what kind of paint to use on them. Any ideas are very welcome. Thanks, guys.

IMO, for backyard use I'd just hit them with a rattle can (like Rustoleum Pro) & hit them again when they get beaten up.
