    Greetings from way up North

We went North to Alaska....LOML and I are starting our second week of our Alaska adventure. Here's a picture of the view that greeted us one morning.

Very nice. I was born there (Anchorage) and lived there until I was 12. Last time I visited was '76.

I went in '04 and loved it. We camped in Valdez and I saw for the first time in my life what that whole "purple mountain's magesty" means. Though I also learned what happens to salmon after they spawn. Dead fish anyone?

Lived there from '67 to '73. I expect things are a bit different today, but the fantastic scenery remains one of natures gems. Enjoy your stay.

There is no place like Alaska!

Beautiful country but Lee, you're doing it all wrong. You should go up in January or February!

I don't know, fellow Creekers? Does an Alaskan Vacation deserve a "You Suck" or is that only reserved for tools? (He did include pictures...)
