    LRH shaper cutters

What can you tell me about these cutters & the company? Claim to be USA made. There seems to be a steady stream of them showing up on Ebay. Some new and as low as $10 Not the most common profiles, but hey, for that kind of money, I'd find something to use them for.

I've got several. I think that the company went belly up, but not due to low quality. The ones I have mostly came from Oella saw, and work great.

I think they were absorbed by Freeborn. Good quality, good carbide. Would not be afraid of them. Dave

LRH was top quality industrial tooling, they closed in the last year or two. Freeborn advertises that they can now sharpen or make replacements for LRH cutters, so that is promising. The stuff I've seen at work is first rate, I'd guess the eBay stuff is old stock liquidation. There was a similar flood of DML cutters a few years back, same idea I imagine, inventory liquidation of now defunct company.
