Jet Dust Collector cord strain relief

    Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if the strain relief for the power cord on a Jet DC-1100 is a readily available one, from radio shack, electrical supplier, etc, or do I need to order the part?

Also, what is the power cord? (14/3 SJOOW , etc)

Bought one used and the guy had rewired to 230V, lost the strain relief so the switch box was FULL of dust, and I think may have replaced the cord.

    Thanks in advance!

If it's anything like my DC-650 and other Jet equipment, the switch box has kind of a rectangular knock out for the power cord, and it uses this type of strain relief:

I don't know that this type of strain relief is available in the store, so, if not, I would round out the knock out in the switch box with a unibit and install this type of strain relief, which you should be able to find:

I don't know what gauge the power cord would have been originally, but I would replace it w/ 12/3.
