    Re-Finishing cabinets

My daughter is looking at buying her first home and hates the kitchen cabinet color, she wants to go to a deep cherry stain. Currently they might have a very light stain and finished with some coating or just a coating. Can someone please let me know the road ahead to redo these and the steps to do it she is on a tight budget so keep that in mind.

    Thanks

If the are flat panel doors it may not be to bad. You will need to use a stripper to remove all of the finish. Sand them down smooth and apply your new stain. Then you will need to top coat with varnish brushed or ragged on. It can be done but it will take several days.
