I'm looking for suggestions as to the best surface to cover my shop floor over joists. The shop is now about to move to the second floor. I can get White Oak t&g locally in random lengths so that's my starting point. Any other ideas?

Hi Steven,
You say you are moving the shop to the second floor. Did you build this second floor space, for a shop? Maybe I am misreading your question. If you built the second floor area for a shop, I think it should have been engineered, and type of sub floor specified. The T&G white oak floor would be great. To nice for my shop, but beautiful.
