Thread: Recently finished shop

    John,

That is a wonderful "Craftsman" style shop. I own two Craftsman style homes built around 1910 to 1915 one was built from a Stickley plan that appeared in the "The Craftsman Magazine" from 1910 and you captured that feeling very well. I have one shop at one of my houses that I built to "fit in" with the historic fabric of the neighborhood and plan to do the same with the other house when I get a pocket full of cash. I know how much effort went into your building and really appreciate your efforts in building such an esthetically pleasing shop.

    Well done and enjoy,

    Alan

That's an awesome shop, one to be proud of for sure. Some day I will remodel my old building and make it more attractive inside and out.

Wow! I’m drooling into my keyboard! What a beautiful structure and space! It should be featured in next years FWW Tools & Shops issue!

Very well done! Among other things I love the stacked stone base wall.

    Beautiful place!
Pictures 3 and 4 turn those windows into double doors somehow, and have a beam on rollers to the ceiling and a cumalong setup and do a barn loft setup like for hay.

Really, really nice! Have you thought about the floor? The sooner you do it, the easier it will be.

    Congrats,

    C
