    Thats what the tool touch off is for. It automatically senses when the tool touches the puck, and sets the Z height. This is a function of the controller not the software.

    The touch off is a common system to adjust for tool length in relationship to the spoilboard many CNC's have this.

  4. Also see if your tool measuring is consistently setting to the same height each time. If not, You may need to slow down the feed rate when touching off..
