Don't see Deals & Discounts in "New Posts"

Or maybe I'm just going blind, but I don't recall seeing any Deals & Discounts threads when I click the New Posts link... don't recall seeing them for many months. Went into the D&D forum and every thread in there was new to me (not a single one looked even vaguely familiar), so I'm pretty sure I'm not losing it.

Has something changed where you have to subscribe to that forum now before seeing the threads? I still see Lumber Yard threads from time to time, so it's not a contributor issue as far as I can tell...

Okay, I know I'm not going crazy... threads in the D&D forum are most definitely not showing up on my "new posts". What's up with that? Makes me wonder how many great deals I've missed out on over the months because I never saw them

I don't use the "new posts" button, but I have a bookmark set up in the following format (uuu used so it doesn't turn it into a link):

    uuu.sawmillcreek.org/search.php?do=getnew&contenttype=vBForum_Post&excl ude=

And I have the forums I'm not in interested in listed in the exclude. The D&D forum is NOT one of the ones I've excluded. But going through the D&D forum, I realize I haven't seen any of those posts.

Reviewing the other forums, I'm seeing posts from all the other forums that I haven't excluded.

As a note, I used the "exclude" format only because it means that if a new forum is added I will see it until I would decide to exclude it as well. You can use an "include" format, but that means that you have to specify any new forums if they are created.

For example, metalworking was created not too long ago. As soon as it was created, it started showing up in my new posts as people posted under it.

I surely would love to see this minor oversight corrected... I hate having to "make an extra trip" to come into this specific forum to see if any deals are around.

Curiously, going to "Quick Links" and selecting "Today's Posts" doesn't get you the D&D forum posts either. It's like that forum is invisible to searches?

Which gave me another idea... I searched for the subject of a few D&D posts - manufacturer's names for items having deals. The D&D posts don't show up there either.

So that forum is pretty much invisible to any kind of search for some reason.

Aaron Koehl will adjust the search when he returns from Canada late this week.
