Welcome to the Creek Michael & Cynthia! This is an awesome piece! Every time I see one of your pieces, I don't see how you could do any better and each time you post a new piece you prove me wrong. Your collaborations are nothing short of amazing!

    Michael and Cynthia,
Needless to say your work is beautiful. I eagerly followed it over on WTA and always wanted to ask, but just never seemed to get around to it, How about a video or tutorial? Particularly, I can see how you turn the main part of your tea pots, and the handle has to be done by hand, but how in the world do you do the spout? Love to see a few photos or whatever...
And then maybe a few tips on pyrography??
    Thanks for sharing

Michael, I have followed many of your collaborative works, and this one, IMO, is the best. Very well done!

    Welcome to SMC, too!!

    Thanks Dave,
Cynthia is planning on making a video in a couple of weeks on pyrography. l started to write an article with photos on how l make a teapot but seemed to have got sidetracked, a video may be easier, will see how Cynthia's turns out. It is a long and detailed process but l will be demonstrating it at the National Symposium in Tampa. Hope you can make it. Michael.

The teapot itself (just the woodwork) is beautifully done.

The pyro work, however, simply amazing... I see detail that I can only achieve using my laser, and it won't work on curved surfaces nearly as easily.

I agree, with all the above! Talent seems unboundless.

  12. Since this photo was taken, we decided a little color would enhance it and is now being shown on the AAW site.

Amazing work on both your parts. I wouldn't have a clue where to even start.
