    Wire "bookend" hardware

Earlier I posted a question about the joinery of a table I'm looking to make for my daughter (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthre...=1#post2033874)

Now I'm wondering if anyone has an idea of where I can get the wire bookends shown in the original...

    Thanks,

I think you could get them from here.

You'd have to remove them from the table, though.

I have an idea you might have an easier time of it if you get some thin rod and make your own. Those are likely a proprietary thing made in China for the table.

Thanks for the links, especially yours, Dave :S.

I'm feeling a bit like Goldilocks with Sam's suggestion being too big and Don's too small. I may just have to work on doing the bending myself. BTW, if you want to get lost in hardware, look at the home decor hardware web site Don pointed me to!

Geez, OK then, how about these? http://www.shopbrodart.com/supplies/...upport-System/

This is different than you show but I think will actually provide better book support and more position options. You would need to mount under a shelf and so will likely want to add a solid edge to your shelves. Note that the wire supports are sold separately. Otherwise - I think Don's link will be a close as you can get for store bought though these are intended for record albums as were the ones shown in the photo you linked to.

But bending yourself works too and saves lots-o-dollahs.
