Baldor Red Grinder vs Baldor

I am looking at getting a grinder to make and dress hollows and rounds. I have always heard that the Baldor grinders are smooth and the best. They are pricey. I did see a Baldor Red special that was not priced a huge amount higher than other grinders. Anybody have knowledge of the Red series?

I picked one up off of CL last weekend that was basically unused for $100. It runs smoothly. This was the 1/3hp version. I have only used it on a couple of tools, but it worked quite well.
