  1. #16
I stopped by my local hardware store and they don't have it but can order it, and the gal knew what 2729 pipe was Go figure

6" 2729 pipe 10' lengths of pipe $1.60 per foot
    6x6x6 wye 25.00
    6x6x4 wye not available
    45 degree ell 13.55
    6" couplings 8.30

    6x4 reducer coupling 10.95

I guess I can get the pipe from her and the fittings from Morrison. Works for me

I bought my ASTM2729 from Ferguson WaterWorks here in Connecticut. They are nationwide. At first they had no clue as to what I was talking about, but they were kind enough to check...and Voila. They not only had it, but they delivered it to my house at no cost. I paid about $15 for 6"x10' and elbows and wyes were much cheaper than McMasters. They delivered everything on a pallet and I believe I paid about $400. I had 10 lengths of 10' and a bunch of elbows, wyes, 6"x4" reducers, some caps and other stuff. I remember posting both here and at the ClearVue forum

No 2729 available here in Alaska.. found SDR35... albeit at $5.85/ft in 10' sticks, $8.85/ft in custom lengths. Let's hear it for killer freight and labor rates. :-/
One can never have too many planes and chisels... or so I'm learning!!

The health dept will not allow the thin wall in sewer systems here in central Kansas, and I was only able to find 4" when I set up my system in '05. So I used spiral pipe. It cost about 1000 for pipe and fittings.
