Wow! Awesome piece Eric! Beautiful wood to go with a beautiful and really cool turning!

    Thanks for the comments.

David, THANK YOU for the "nit". I am in such awe of you work, that any comment from you is appreciated. And, I agree. This is where my inexperience in turning this form comes in. The corners are rounded and slightly concave because I clipped them as i was forming the top of the center HF. In retrospect, I should have made the corner "posts" thinner and should have squared them off. Instead, I sanded away my mistake and ended up with this. Live and learn, huh?

Your piece is very impressive. You indicate that you made the process up as you went along. Could you describe the process and the steps that you took to make this one (two) lovely piece(s)???

    Cheers,
    David

Just when you think you've seen it all, there comes along another "How did he do that". Very impressive and why to think through the processes and pull it off. Thanks for sharing and can't wait for another.

This piece completely captures my mind, and won't let it go. Brilliant!

As seems to be hinted at elsewhere in this thread, we need this on a cover of a magazine, along with an in-depth "how-to" article.

    Cheers!
